37.5 hours per week on a 24/7 shift rota

We are looking to recruit a SOC Support Technician based in Jersey working 37.5 hours per week.

As a Sure SOC Support Technician, you will be an important part of the frontline support team for business customers. You will log support and request tickets, process changes and provide first line support our business customers using industry standard best practices and cutting-edge tools. You will act as a champion for our valued business customers by being professional, and by using your exceptional organisation and communication skills. You will use these to drive faults and requests to closure. Sure SOC Technicians also contribute significantly to continual service improvement by collaborating with other engineering teams across the Sure group.

Due to the nature of Sure’s business customers, SOC Support Technicians work as part of a dedicated team working on a 24x365 shift rota, which attracts a generous shift allowance.

Candidates will portray these values and must be a technically skilled and highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role as well as strong customer service skills.   Ideally, the candidate will have customer service experience within an operational environment working on IT networks, infrastructure, data centres and associated services.  The successful candidate must be educated at GCSE level with good pass results, however, an ITIL or other IT qualifications are desirable.
