Fibre Installation Assistance Engineer

Feel Connected to the future at Sure by joining the FTTP Programme as a Fibre Installation Assistance Engineer in Guernsey working 37.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract basis until 31 December 2025. Please note this role involves working Saturdays on a rota basis.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

To drive the role forward, the individual will provide a critical support service to our team of 30 Installation Technicians installing Fibre Optic Broadband & Phone services across Guernsey. This role provides ‘on demand’ service to the Fibre Installations Team. The successful postholder will be required to work at heights, and assist with roadworks signing and guarding, cable pulling and installation, drilling and cable running.

Please note the successful applicant will be required to join a callout rota in order to provide out of hours cover that includes nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
